In the first half of the year, the total export volume of China’s photovoltaic products (silicon wafers, solar cells, solar pv modules) was preliminarily estimated to exceed US$29 billion a year-on-year increase of about 13%. The proportion of exports of silicon wafers and cells has increased, while the proportion of exports of components has decreased.
By the end of June, the country’s cumulative installed power generation capacity was about 2.71 billion kilowatts, up 10.8 %year on year. Among them, the installed capacity of solar power generation was about 470 million kilowatts, an increase of 39.8%. From January to June, the country’s major power generation enterprises completed 331.9 billion yuan of investment in power supply projects, an increase of 53.8%. Among them, solar power generation was 134.9 billion yuan, up 113.6% year-on-year.
By the end of June, the installed capacity of hydropower was 418 million kilowatts, wind power 390 million kilowatts, solar power 471 million kilowatts, biomass power generation 43 million kilowatts, and the total installed capacity of renewable energy reached 1.322 billion kilowatts, an increase of 18.2%, accounting for about 48.8% of China’s total installed capacity.
In the first half of the year, the output of polysilicon, silicon wafers, batteries and modules increased by more than 60%. Among them, polysilicon production exceeded 600,000 tons, an increase of more than 65%;Silicon wafer production exceeded 250GW, an increase of more than 63% year-on-year. Solar cell production exceeded 220GW, an increase of more than 62%; Component production exceeded 200GW, an increase of more than 60% year-on-year
In June, 17.21GW of photovoltaic installations were added.
Regarding the export of photovoltaic materials from January to June, our photovoltaic solar glass, backsheet and EVA film are sold well in Italy, Germany, Brazil, Canada, Indonesia and other more than 50 countries.
